Greetings from Sahagun

We had another good sleep last night and it makes a difference! (two nights in a row!). Today we feel good and walked to Sahagun (pronounced Saag-une). It´s a lovely little town with many bars/cafes/restaurants. Ray managed to get an elastic bandage for his ankle, a hat (finally) and a pair of thongs, so he´s happy! We´ve just had lunch and stopped of at the Irish pub (Ray insisted on having a couple for Danny!). It´s hard to believe that we have now walked over 400km!! Would we have done it if we really knew what was in store? Either way psychologically we feel we´re in the home stretch (only another 400km).
This morning we walked through hobbit town- houses built into a hill with chimneys and tv antennas coming out of the top- really bizzare. Easy walking today and another easy day tommorrow but a hard one the day after to Leon. Time for our siesta (it´s about 1pm and everything stops, you have to get into the rythmn otherwise you get frustrated!). Hasta la vista!
Thanks for the messages Rosco, Pete, Ayla and Kerry great to hear from you!
