Last started well, lovely albergue and a lovely, well run restaurant (Como sapiens - a little play on words, not Homo sapiens but Como as in I eat, you has to be there). The meal was good and reasonably priced. After a good feed a good sleep. We shared with four women (3 Canadians and a German), they wanted assurance that we didn´t snore (only men snore). Ray did start a snore but a well aimed T-shirt from me put a stop to that. About 11am it started, it sounded like a banshee with a chainsaw and it kept goung for hours (one of the Canadians), a sleepless night!!
Next morning we walked to the outskirts of Burgos (Villafria) had a good breakfast and caught a bus through the industrial areas of Burgos. It´s not fair to judge a city after a few hours but I don´t have to be fair!! Burgos is a souless hellhole!!! To tired to give details tonight, more details on Burgos and the Worst Restaurant in the Universe tommorrow!!
